(When asked about who was he and where he from, he replied that he was an Afghani. He grasped the finger of my brother and took us to feeding place of our cows. So he grew bigger and bigger and said: do you recognize me now?)
One of my cousins was suffering from some demonic activity. We went to see him. My elder brother told that he went there yesterday and asked by the Jinns to light a lamp at a certain place. I asked him about my matric results as I was for that. He said that he could only guess that as it would happen in the future. But he could tell every detail about my past. There was present an exorcist near there who had placed a pitcher at the door and started doing some recitation there. After some time that pitcher was tripped along with the water inside and that cousin came into his senses.
In other incident in our village there used to be a haunted girl. I asked her mother to invite me when next time she comes under the demonic influence. One day, when it happened, they called for me. When I saw her, she started saying Haji, please come and don’t be scared. I requested the demon to leave that girl as she was too young as well as my neighbor. The Jinn on her said that the girl had picked some flowers from my garden and they were punishing her. I told them that I forgave her so they should also forgive her and depart. They did so and she turned alright again.
Another interesting incident happened to my brother. It was midnight when that there was a knock on the door. My brother opened the door and found a young kid there. He asked him about his purpose and origin. The kid replied that he came from Afghanistan. He was quite surprised. Then he got a hold of my brother’s finger and brought him to the place where we used to feed our cows. Then he grew bigger and asked my brother if he could recognize him. My brother replied him that he seemed to be a Jinn to which he confirmed and said that his name was Zaman Khan. He said that they had come from Afghanistan and need a permission to stay on the Eucalyptus tree in our courtyard. My brother agreed and permitted them to stay there. After two or three days, he saw around two or three thousand birds flying together from the tree and they threw a broken branch of that tree to indicate their departure.
We had also heard that there live some jinns in our drawing room. Once one of our relatives who isa Hafiz too came to spend night in that room despite our forbidding him. Next morning he said that it was a horrible night as the jinns were moving his bed all night. He also smoked there which disturbed the jinns.Those days I was preparing for my matric exams and when I switched on the radio during theday, I felt heaviness and burden on my body for the whole night. I realized that I might have disturbed them during their worshipso; they would punish me for that. One morning I was sleeping and was about to miss my Fajr, some called my name and then wake me up.
